LED Manicures
This project was an exploration of using light to adorn the body as a form of makeup. Inspired by sci-fi representations of futuristic beauty, I designed and built monochrome and multicolor LED manicures. Not meant for everyday wear, these are designed for high-impact photography and visual performances.
V.2 NEOPIXEL EDITION
I redesigned and rebuilt this project to use tiny surface mount NeoPixel RGB LEDs. Each nail can display any color and full color animations can be programmed with Circuit Python on the Gemma microcontroller by Adafruit. Click here for my full tutorial for this project on the Adafruit website.
