Ghostbusters 2016 Patterns

These are some patterns I created for my Ghostbusters 2016 costume. Sharing these here for anyone to use for their own costumes. Enjoy!

Note: These are sized to fit me, and will need to be adjusted to fit you. Use cellophane and blue tape to make a pattern from your own leg, and then scale my patterns accordingly to make custom gaiters that will fit you perfectly.

I made my gaiters out of EVA foam attached to a canvas backing. This is a diagram of how the two EVA foam pieces of the gaiter fit together.

These are the patterns I used for the EVA foam sections. These are both for the right side, flip them over for the left side. I cut them out of EVA foam, heat formed them to create a curve, and then beveled the edges with a Dremel.

This is a quick sewing pattern I made for the canvas backing that I glued the EVA foam pieces too. You can scale this to fit your legs and add 1/2" seam allowance to all sides. Cut four of each piece for a set of two gaiters.
